What types of rain gutters do you install?
We offer .32 gauge Heavy Duty Seamless gutters, downspouts and leaf protection: We offer seamless 5' & 6" K style and 5" & 6" 1/2 round gutters in 38 colors in aluminum, Copper and Galvanized. Since we install more gutter than anyone we have the skilled installers that will do the job right to insure years of care free gutter systems.
Because we only work with top-rated brands of coil and leaf protection, many of our systems offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY and when you choose Next Day Gutters, you know you are working with a company that will be around to always GUARANTEE our work.
What if I discover an issue with my new gutters after you're finished
We stand behind our work. In unusual cases where a concern comes
up after a job is complete, we will come back and address that issue.
We pride ourselves on having a great reputation.
Are you a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau?
Yes we are-you will find we have the Top A+ rating with the BBB.
What kind of fasteners do you use when you install gutters and gutter guards?
We use the strongest no-rust screw in hidden hangers. We do NOT use the old-style spikes and farrels that tend to pull away and fail after a few years.
What kind of gutter guards do you offer?
Unlike expensive franchise gutter companies we offer several different types of cost-effective gutter guards. These gutter guards include helmet-style gutter shields such as TruGuard, as well as metal filter style gutter guards such as leaf relief. Depending on your needs, our estimator can help you determine the best gutter leaf protection system for you. If your current gutters are in good condition, we CAN install most types of gutter guards on your existing gutters after we conduct a thorough gutter cleaning.
Yes, we can install drip edge as needed on a project.
Can you install fascia board and/or wrap fascia?
Yes, our installers are well-trained in installing fascia board and do a great job of wrapping fascia if requested. We typically use a nice PVC wrap on the fascia boards, which really looks great and helps your wood last longer.
Can you install gutters if there is no fascia boards on my home or business?
That depends. Often we can, provided that there are solid boards at regular intervals to attach guttering. Typically there is. Please give us a call to talk about your gutter project so we can give you a definite answer.
Yes. We only install seamless gutters using aluminum, stainless steel, or copper. You can tell if your current gutteres are seamless by looking at your longer runs of gutters. If there are places you can see two sections of gutter overlapping, they probably aren't seamless. Generally, we only use seams where there are corners or some rare, special situtation. We can even do seamless half-round gutters, something that is a bit unusual in our industry.
Do you install PVC/Plastic Gutters?
No. We feel that PVC or plastic gutters are not a good option for any home. PVC gutters tend to get brittle, cannot handle as much of a snow load compared to metal gutters. Also, PVC guttering tends to have a less attractive look than aluminum or copper gutters.
Do you clean underground drains?
When we install new gutters or when we clean your gutters before installing gutter protection on your home we do a thorough job cleaning your gutters and downspouts. We do the best we can to clean out anything sticking out of the top of your underground drain pipes, but we don't have the equipment to clean out buried drain tiles. If you think your underground drains may need a cleanout we can recommend a company to help with that, or if you want we can install downspouts extensions to bypass your underground drains if appropriate.
How long does it take to get my gutters installed?
Our installation turn-around time tends to be very fast. As long as you don't have any work that is unusual that requires us to order special materials, we can potentially install the next day or shortly thereafter. Alot depends on you and your timetable. We can typically setup an appointment to give you a quote on your gutter system very soon after you contact us. BTW, you normally don't need to be home for the installation, but we would need a reliable way to reach you in case their is an issue. We accept payment by check or credit card.
Why shouldn't I just buy materials and install my own gutters?
To be honest, not many homeowners have the necessary skills to install their own gutters. It might look simple, but there are many aspects to installing aluminum gutters that make it unlikely that your average homeowner can do it right. Gutters need to be cut and installed so that they sit just right on the house, with the right amount of pitch and so that they will function properly to collect all rain water for years to come and so that they will not be a safety hazard.
Speaking of safety, installing gutters is precarious work. Our installers are experienced and know how to work in high places.
If you still think you want to do the installation yourself, we recommend that you get an estimate from Next Day Gutters first...after all your time and safety are worth it.
Why is a working gutter system important to my home or business?
Gutters are meant to keep water from getting into your home or foundation. Water can cause quite alot of expensive damage, and often it's not until the worst of it is done that a homeowner will notice there is a problem. Water that lands on your roof in a rain storm needs to be directed away from your home. In our line of work, we often see issues caused by poorly working gutters such as wood rot, mold, and damage to ceilings in homes when things go wrong.
Although in extreme weather, gutters might not be able to do their job, your gutters should be correctly installed and clean so that water flows through them and exits the system. Gutters that overflow or that just let water stand in them can be a hazard--even just as a breeding ground for mosquitos.
